Jack grew up in California and has widely traveled the southwester U.S., by car, hiking on high mountain trails, and locating and recording portions of the Old Spanish Trail, a Mexican-period mule caravan that linked Santa Fe (New Mexico) with Los Angeles (California). As a Native Son, he seeks to record and preserve the beauty and wonder of America's west (still partially wild).
